I think anyone in my industry awaits February’s fashion week with a mixture of glossy eyed excitement and trepidant dread. I am no LFW spring chicken anymore, this is my 21st fashion week (baring in mind they are bi-annual!). Sure I started many moons ago on my hands and knees as a keen fashion student dressing grouchy models, sneaking into shows and stealing goody bags and now I get to attend under sponsorship with brands, wearing free clothes, sometime even my cars get paid for (!!). But at the end of the day its still work but the day is always made brighter seeing my fellow bloggers in their LFW #ootd’s looking fiiiiine.
Below are my two favourite outfits I wore to London Fashion Week this season and there’s a theme!
Look 1
Let’s call this my “opening” look. I wore it on day 1, my first time every with a pretty much AAA pass I wanted to wear something statement. At the H&M showrooms the week before I went in to try some pieces on and say this look on a mannequin. there was only one so I snatched it up. I love Double denim on the daily anyway so when it comes cut kimono style with white L-O-V-E stencilling all over it I am sold.
I paired it with these awesome Bershka cat eye glasses and some striking silver boots from Official PLT***. My bag is from a really small cult brand Esin Akin** and I happened to bump into the designer herself in the show rooms.

Look 2
My next favourite look was actually a super safe and comfortable look I wore of day 3 (when I energy and effort levels started to wane, clearly). I pulled this cream knit co-ord from River Island showroom. It’s super stretchy and comfortable. The cut is really cool, trousers and top both cropped with long bell sleeves. I love the black contrast stitching on the cuffs.
I paired it with a beautiful transition coat for spring. this one is from H&M in navy. On my feet are the sexiest mules ever! These croc skin black mules have a decent heel but not to high for walking around a lot. You guys loved them when I posted them on insta!
My glasses were cat eyes again, also from River Island with a blue tinted lens and gold arms.

All in all I think comfort played a major role in selecting my outfits. I had a cold and was attending for 4 consecutive days on the trot. I needed outfits that would keep me comfortable and warm all the way through.
Would you like to season round ups of my top looks every LFW season? Let me know below which your fav was too.
